Preppy Pink and Green Thursday

The oh so wonderful and spunky Trish from Preppy Pink Lilly Lover, has a wonderful on going feature... Pink and Green Thursdays... Well Trish, I'm hoppin' on that fabulous band wagon... so here you are lovelies, my first ever Pink and Green Thursday. Be sure to drop by her blog and see the original!

Oh Audrey... You are my icon for so many reasons, and this is just one of them!

This is the monastary where Green Chartreuse liquor was originally made... have you ever tasted it? I don't know that I've seen it anywhere... But I would certainly love to vacation there!

Love this pink room designed by Suzanne Kassler, there is some story about the table against the wall... something like she had a bookcase that had that border and liked it so much she had a matching table made, or visa versa... I can't remember it now... but trust me it was interesting!

How charming are these wedding invitations and R.S.V.P. cards designed by Keg Designs on Paper for her own wedding?

Let's not forget that in only a few short weeks the Kentucky Derby will be held again... in honor of that, and because we all know that April's showers bring May flowers... I am drooling over these Pink and White Horse rain boots from Hatley.

Love this green hydrangea and rose bouquet featured on Brenda's Wedding Blog.

Just settled our plans to spend the 4th of July with the preppy boyfriend's parents, this will be the 4th year in a row we've spent the 4th of July with them... I usually spend so much time relaxing here...

that I don't end up making it out to watch these...

I am dreaming of this chartreuse gate in Bellwood Gardens... can I please just escape into that garden for a moment?

These are my running shoes, I went to Run Tex and tried several pairs last year, and it just so happened that the pair that fit my feet best, and worked best with my stride were also pink! I love them, I really do... but it's just about time I trot into Run Tex and get fitted for a new pair!

Have you heard of white strawberries (AKA Pineberries)? They are a newly domesticated variety of strawberry, supposedly they taste something like pineapple and strawberry... they are only available for sale in the UK.

*I can't say I'll be organized enough to do one of these every week, but I can promise you that this will be a re-occuring feature! Thanks again to Trish for letting me join the party!

So much to love here. First and foremost, a derby girl. I love you even more. Getting ready won't be long! We have our own little affair at the tracks in New Orleans. Most of them wear the goofy type hats with crawfish and such, but some of us consider it a time for the best of the best. Can't wait to hear more. Second I love the invitations and RSVP, who made these? Love the hydrangeas myself. The garden gate, well I mighta stole that picture from you, I have this thing for garden gates.
