It is springtime in Texas and that means that the famed Texas Blue Bonnets have been out in all their sapphire glory for a few weeks. The PBF and I recently headed off to Houston for the weekend and he so nicely stopped so I could try to capture a picture of every single wildflower in the fields.... They are so lovely I thought I would share them for your viewing pleasure! Feel free to copy and repost them to share the springtime beauty, just link back to this post!
"...Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will he not much more clothe you?"
Wouldn't it be fantastic to be clothed in glory like the flowers of the field?
"Let us exult in the hope of the glory of God!" Romans 5:2
*Please excuse the preppy boyfriend's porn star v-neck in the photo of us, I promise you when he's sitting straight up the neckline of that shirt is most certainly not THAT low! :) He's also not wearing a gold necklace... I swear I don't know what it is, but it most certainly is not a gold necklace paired with his porn star shirt :)
**On a more personal note, the preppy household is having some growing pains... so if you're of the praying sort, could you please remember to ask that our house be cloaked in mercy and grace for the next few weeks?
***Thanks to the gentle nudges of the lovely and dynamic duo Pink Preppy Lilly Lover and Bumpkin on a Swing I have added my email address to my profile so you should be able to reply to my comments via email :)
****On the iphone front... thank you everyone for all your comments, I was surprised because that was the most commented post I've had in a while! I'm still unsure about it... lots to consider and I am if nothing else a girl who thinks things through! I'm sure ya'll will be amongst the first to know if I do decide to get an iphone... for now I'm using my old LG phone that I kept meaning to send in to that program where you send your cell phone in to the army so soldiers can call home...
