Hello Lovelies,
I'll be the first to admit there are lots of trends I'm slow to adopt for my own closet... for example maxi dresses (I didn't hop on that boat until this year, even though they've been popular for 4-5 years now), Leggings (again they've been chic again for at least 4 years and yet, I just started wearing them this year), skinny jeans... Oh loves I could go on for ages, I'm very slow to adopt new styles :)
Lately, I've seen oodles and oodles of celebrities and models wearing oxfords and I'm just not a fan... they seem weird to me, and I think everybody's feet look big in them... and they all sort of look cheap to me... This is a trend that's supposedly uber preppy and it's way outta my style comfort zone... I dunno.... I guess I'm just not that chic.
Do you wear oxfords lovelies? Or do you see the appeal in them? What fashion trends to you hate and/or were late to adopt for your own style?

I hadn't noticed that trend, but I'm not sure I'm a fan. But I cannot and will not ever get behind skinny jeans. Sure, lots of ladies can rock 'em, but they are no friend to the thick legged like me!
I am with you on this trend. I saw a picture of Whitney Port wearing them and it just looked frumpy. I'll stick with my current selection of sandals and flats!
I don't like oxfords either! I didn't in the 80s, and not now.
No skinny jeans either, they don't work for this petite hourglass with a round behind - but leggings (under tunics and dresses) yes. Not maxi dresses, but maxi *skirts* I have worn happily for at least a few years.
I admit I also like some of the clog trend.
I think the celebrities you posted can pull them off but I just don't think I can :)
I'm so behind that I have to see a fad for 5 or 6 years before I start to like it. Too bad I'm one to get rid of something every time I buy something new: clothes I wore in college have come backwith a vengeance. As far as the oxfords go, I'll probably think they're cute just as they go out of style :)
