Hello lovelies,
With the big drive from Texas to California only 6 days away... I find myself thinking of the ultimate preppy road trip playlist. So far I know I'll have my Need to Breathe "The Outsiders" album close at hand,
as well as Shane and Shane "Everything is Different" album,
Regina Spektor's "Far" album,
Lady Antebellum's "I Need You Now" album,
along with Shawn McDonald "Live in Seattle" album,
just for giggles we'll throw in Owl City "Ocean Eyes" album...
we'll throw in some random shuffle from the ipod... perhaps some Dashboard Confessional just to roll the windows down and sing at the top of my lungs to!
some classic jazz can one every go wrong with the rat pack as your companions on a road trip?
So darlings... what else should I add to my ultimate road trip 2010 playlist. We're talking three + days in the car just me and my pup, so any and all suggestions are welcome!

Wow, Texas to California!? That's one LONG drive!
I love your taste in music! :] Have you heard of The Script?
Texas to Cali - that sounds amazing!
I would say put on a bunch of songs from your middle school/high school days. Those are the best ones to sing to, and they make you feel all nostalgic, too. For me, that would be lots of Tiffany and Debbie Gibson, the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, NSync, old school Britney Spears, and Matchbox 20.
Hope your drive goes great!
How about a little Bellamy Brother's?! Need a little "Redneck Girl"!
Love Regina Spector and Dashboard! Good luck and drive safe!!
Great choices - we have similar taste, especially Need To Breathe, Owl City, Regina Spektor, and Lady Antebellum :-) My husband loves Shane & Shane, so he'd be happy, too, ha ha!
Love Regina! And the Rat Pack. Good choice! I'm stuck on The National right now. Not sure if you have heard of them or if you like that kind of music, but it's good stuff!
Nothing makes the time go faster than a great book on tape! Seriously ... you are about to embark on a BORING drive ... get something to distract you and keep you involved!
I'd add some cross canadian ragweed and jack johnson and you're good to go!
